Rachel and Ronnie,
Actually met in 1995 when they were both first year campers at Camp Sunshine, a summer camp for children with cancer. They both would continue going to camp till their teens. While at camp the two knew of each other but, both remember very little reaction between the two.
As adults they both would return to camp as volunteers. Rachel volunteered at Junior Week and Ronnie at Teen week. Ronnie would eventually start volunteering for both weeks in 2019 but, atlas their paths did not cross. It wasn’t until the summer of 2022 camp’s first year back after the pandemic. Ronnie was walking between activities shooting videos. He decided to stop at one of the pavilions where some fellow volunteers were gathered to take a quick rest. In this group was Rachel and the two started talking. And before they both knew it they were the only ones left out of the group. And that conversation never ended. Since then it’s been an adventure of randomness and, now we start on the biggest adventure of them all.
